The use of our services is subject to the following terms of use This Agreement shall apply from the date you sign the service form and shall continue until the date we have repaired your device or otherwise returned it and payment has been made.
- 1.1 We shall make full effort to repair your device subject to the availability
of the
required parts and/or the terms and conditions of any guarantee or warranty.
This
shall
be performed with delicate care and skill.
- 1.2 During the reparations we will make use of high-quality compatible parts for
each
repair that we complete.
- 1.3 We shall need the passcode of your device so that our team can test it
before and
after our service. If you decide to not state your information, we can continue
with
the
repair service, however, we will not be able to perform a functionality test on
the
device until you have returned to the store. This can delay the timeframe of the
service
should any adjustments be required.
- 1.4 Any timeframe for the completion of the service is an estimate and does not
form any
obligation under the terms of this Agreement. We aim to return your device as
soon
as
possible, however, certain repairs may require 3 or more working days to
complete.
- 1.5 We shall inform you of when your device has been repaired and is on its way
back to
you via tracked postage. If you are using the walk-in service you shall receive
a
notification when your device is ready for collection.
- 1.6 Should we be unable to complete the required service, or the service will
require
further costs, you will be notified immediately via telephone and/or email.
Should
we
find no fault in your device, you have the option not to accept our revised
estimate. We
will then return the device to you unrepaired and reserve the right to charge an
inspection fee in accordance with the standard charges we use.
- 1.7 The total cost of repair will be calculated in accordance with our standard
charges
as published from certain dates.
- 1.8 We are entitled to keep your device until all charges payable have been
paid. We may
also charge an additional fee for storage of your device.
- 1.9 Using our services may void your manufacturer’s warranty. Should you want to
avoid
this, we suggest taking the device directly to the manufacturer. This may not
cover
any
accidental damage.
- 1.10 iPad-Repair may install warranty seals after the repair has been completed. Any tampering of the seals will void the iPad-Repair warranty.
- 1.11 The Warranty we supply will be linked to a particular device and can be
identified
by a unique IMEI or serial number, as well as to the specific customer
identified by
records on our system. This will cover the Customer for any re-occurrence of the
original damage and for the parts replaced or repaired. Should any additional
faults
occur, they will not be covered by this Warranty. Furthermore, the warranty does
not
cover accidental damage, nor will it cover if the device was to change
ownership
- 1.12 We do not accept responsibility for any progression in damage in which your
device
has been repaired elsewhere prior to the repair at iPad-Repair. This
applies
to
any issues found on your device that were not evident upon initial inspection.
Should
any issues become apparent during the inspection you will be contacted directly
via
telephone and/or email.
- 1.13 We do not accept responsibility for any progression in damage for a device
damaged
by liquid. Opening the device has the potential to create further damage which
may
be
serious and in some circumstances irreparable.
- 1.14 Following repair, any waterproofing or resistance cannot be
guaranteed.
2.1 Our entire liability in respect of any particular cause of action arising as a result
of or in connection with this Agreement (including a breach of contract, negligence,
statute, or at all) shall be limited to the extent that the cause of action related to
our supply of service, at our option to complete any of the following: (a) supply our
Services again; (b) payment of the cost of having the Services performed again; or
(c) repayment of any amount that has been paid for the Services.
2.2 Should your device be damaged beyond economical repair as a direct result of a
service undertaken by iPad-Repair, you will be entitled to a fully functioning
refurbished device of equal value, matched to the model of your device and the
condition it was received in (see clause 12.1). In order to receive a replacement,
full payment is required for the repair of the device and the relevant device must
be provided to us.
2.3 Any data or information that you may have on the device shall remain your
responsibility. We accept no liability for the loss or corruption of this data however
caused, thus we suggest that you backup your device onto an external drive prior to
using our services. It is your responsibility to back up any such data.
2.4 Nothing in this clause 2 shall limit our liability for: (a) death or personal
injury caused by our negligence; (b) breach of any term implied by statute; (c) any
claim arising under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; or (d) fraudulent
misrepresentation.
2.5 In no circumstances shall we be liable for any indirect, special or consequential
loss arising out of or in connection with this Agreement, including any loss of revenue,
profits, business, anticipated savings or any other indirect loss.
3.1 We shall not be liable for any delay in our failure of performance of our obligations
under this Agreement arising for any reason beyond our control.
3.2 Our repair warranty covers solely the part(s) we repaired or replaced. Any
additional fault unrelated to the repair we completed is not covered, and the
warranty does not cover liquid damage or further damage. Should your device be
repaired by a third party following our service, our warranty becomes void.
3.3 This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be
subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
4.1 The sectionContent of the pages of this website is for your general information and
use
only. It is subject to change without notice.
4.2 We, nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee the accuracy,
performance, completeness, timelessness or suitability of the information or materials
found and offered on this website for any purpose. In using this website you acknowledge
that such information or material may contain inaccuracies or errors which we have no
liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
4.3 Your use of any information and or materials found on this website is at your own
risk, for which we shall not be liable. It is your own responsibility to ensure that any
services, products or information provided through this site meet your requirements.
4.4 This website will contain material that is owned by iPad-Repair. This

forms parts of these terms and conditions.

licenced to us are acknowledged on the website.
4.6 Any unauthorised use of this website may have the potential to give rise to a claim
for damages as well as a criminal offence.
4.7 The use of this website and any dispute arising from its use is subject to the laws
of England and Wales.
4.8 This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be
subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Use of our repair service may void your manufacturer’s warranty.
Any data that you have stored on your device shall remain your responsibility. We accept
no liability for any loss or corruption of such data no matter how it is caused.
Therefore, we suggest that you backup your data onto an external drive prior to your
repair.
We take no responsibility for any progression in damage for devices damaged by liquid.
Whilst unlikely, opening up the device may result in further damage that may be serious
and in some situations irreparable.
We take no responsibility for any progression of damage when your device has been
repaired elsewhere prior to your repair at iPad-Repair. Should we find any
further
damage, you will be contacted immediately via telephone and/or email.
At all times we will do our best to deliver the quoted delivery time, however in some
circumstances out of our control, this cannot be guaranteed. Our quoted repair time
starts once a repair has begun with a technician.
5.2 Any repair completed by iPad-Repair may void your manufacturer's warranty for your watch. iPad-Repair has no liability should your manufacturer's warranty be voided. If you do not wish to void that warranty, you should not place an order with iPad-Repair and should instead take the watch to the manufacturer.
5.3 It is your responsibility to tell iPad-Repair the correct model and series of your watch, its condition, and whether any modifications or previous repairs have been carried out on it. iPad-Repair may perform a check-in diagnosis to evaluate the watch's condition. If its condition is significantly different from what you described, you agree that additional charges may apply — iPad-Repair will inform you of these before proceeding.
5.4 Transporting your watch to iPad-Repair is your sole responsibility: should it arrive with further damage or be lost in transit, you bear the risk of loss. Any separate parts or accessories you choose to include are also sent at your own risk, and iPad-Repair will not be held responsible should they go missing before arriving with us. Please ensure your watch and any parts are securely wrapped and sealed so nothing goes missing in transit.
5.5 By submitting a device for repair, you confirm that you are the owner of the device, or that you are authorised by the owner to submit it for repair. iPad-Repair accepts no liability arising from a device submitted by a person who is not entitled to do so, and may report suspected stolen devices to the relevant authorities.
6.1 Any device transported to you is required to be examined upon receipt. Should your
device be delivered damaged, unrepaired or with any additional faults, you are required
to inform iPad-Repair within 3 days of receipt. Should you not inform us within
3
days, iPad-Repair will have no liability should your device have arrived with a
fault. This does not affect your statutory rights or any other rights under these Terms.
6.2 All devices are returned via a tracked courier. This excludes Saturday and Sunday
delivery.
6.3 We work on a no-fix, no-fee policy: if we cannot repair your device, you do not
pay for the repair. A £15 return postage and processing charge still applies to
return your device to you. iPad-Repair cannot guarantee that any particular
device is repairable and
has no liability to you if we are unable to repair your device.
6.4 If your device remains uncollected, or we are unable to return it because you
have not responded to our messages or have not paid any outstanding charges, we will
attempt to contact you using the details you provided. If the device remains
uncollected or unreturnable for 90 days after our first notice, we may dispose of or
recycle the device to recover our costs (including any storage charges under clause
1.8), and iPad-Repair will have no further liability to you in respect of it.
7.1 The price that is quoted to you for the Repair Services in terms of each device is an
indicative non-binding quote issued by iPad-Repair. This is based on the
information provided by you regarding each device. For example, the faults you have
described. As a result, any price quoted is subject to a detailed verification of each
device.
7.2 On receipt of your device, iPad-Repair will inspect it. If the indicative
price needs to change (for example, because we find extra faults), or if you have
already paid for a particular repair but we find that a different or additional
repair is necessary, iPad-Repair will contact you to ask whether you would
like us to proceed at the revised price. You will only be charged more if you agree
to the revised price. If you do not agree, iPad-Repair will not perform the
Repair Services and will have no liability to you other than to refund any payments
you have already made in relation to the repair, minus a £15 return postage and
processing charge.
8.1 Except when stated otherwise, iPad-Repair Repair Services are supported by a
limited 12-month parts and labour warranty from the date of repair. Battery
replacements and cracked front glass / touch repairs are covered for 90 days from
the date of repair. The warranty does not apply to diagnostic services, or to any
cracks or liquid damage.
8.2 What is covered by the Warranty?
(b) faults in the workmanship of the repair we carried out;
(c) a re-occurrence of the original fault we repaired, within the warranty period.
8.3 The warranty is limited to the parts we supplied and the labour we carried
out in the original repair. For example, if we fixed a camera fault on your device
and the replacement part later proves defective, we will gladly replace it at no
cost — but a fault in an unrelated part, such as the power button, would not be
covered.
9.2 For postal warranty claims, postage is paid by the customer in both directions — sending the device to us and the return delivery back to you.
9.3 Whether cracks, other physical damage or liquid damage are present is assessed from the condition of the device at the time we inspect it, and our technician's assessment is final.
9.4 What does the Warranty not cover?
The warranty does not cover any of the following in relation to a device repaired under our Repair Services:
(a) physical damage, however it occurs — any crack, bend, dent or breakage found on the device is not covered, whatever the cause, whenever it happened and whether or not it was reported. This includes mishandling and accidental damage;
(b) water or any other liquid damage;
(c) damage or faults resulting from an attempted repair by the customer or any third party, at any time;
(d) software issues unrelated to the repair, or any damage resulting from viruses or other malicious software that may have been transmitted during servicing or escaped detection;
(e) any jailbroken or “rooted” device;
(f) water resistance — iPad-Repair cannot guarantee that a device will remain water-resistant following a repair;
(g) new damage unrelated to the original service;
(h) any loss of data that occurs as a result of the repair. Please back up your device before sending it to us. We do not accept any liability for data that is deleted, lost, corrupted or altered during the repair service. You as the customer accept full responsibility for backing up the data on your device, and we are not required to advise or remind you of any backup procedures.
10.1 If you are a customer, all of iPad-Repair prices will include VAT. The prices that are quoted to business customers will also include VAT on all Repair Services.
11.1 The warranty stated above is only valid for the specific device that has been repaired through the repair services that we offer, and for the original customer. As a result, it is not transferable across devices, or if the device is sold or given to another person.
12.2 In the unlikely event of a defect with the Repair Services that is covered by the warranty:
(b) please give iPad-Repair a reasonable opportunity to repair or replace the defective part; and
(c) iPad-Repair will make every effort to fix the defect within 14 days.
12.3 If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to Repair Services that were not carried out with reasonable skill and care, or where the materials used by iPad-Repair are faulty or not as described. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.
12.4 Nothing in these Terms affects those legal rights.
